Football

First and foremost I began this blog to write about football. I've always loved writing and one day I decided to start up a blog and began to write a few thoughts down on Blues matches. That soon became match reports, which then grew further with me writing about England international games and blogging about certain footballers too.

This is the main area that made me decide what I wanted to do with my life. Up until I started this blog in 2009 I had absolutely no idea. But writing and football are two things I'm passionate about, so I thought why not? Off the back of this blog I decided to study English Language and Journalism at University and it was definitely the best decision of my life so far!

I've always loved football. As a youngster I played it more than I watched it. I always went to Blues games, just not as many as I could have done as playing it got in the way. But as I got older I decided that I'd rather be a spectator, and since then I've experienced incredible highs like winning the League Cup and seeing my team play in Europe, as well as crushing lows in relegation, losing out in the play-offs, and of course the financial woe Blues are currently facing.

Football has always been part of my life - in my family, I could never have escaped catching the football bug! I'm a season ticket holder in the Tilton, and a regular at away games. For my sins.

I love writing about my experiences at matches, my thoughts on games and about the players I love. I hope you enjoy reading my blogs just as much as I enjoy writing them!
